It is noteworthy for its wide streets, with lots of greenery and many shops for a little pleasurable browsing after a day at the beach. The beaches are easily accessible from the shore road and are ideal for entertaining children with slides, swings, seesaws, and paddling pools.
For a holiday with a special emphasis on well-being and outdoor life, try the modern spa establishment "Thermae Oasis Spa § Beauty" which uses the local Bromine-rich water and features massage and relaxation areas.
There are plenty of hotels, houses and apartments for rent, as well as campsites and tourist villages between the sea and the Po Delta Park.
For a plunge into the past, it is possible to visit the actual hut where Garibaldi took shelter with his dying wife Anita on August 3, 1849.
A complex of cottages about 400 m from the beach and 600 m from the center, supermarket in the immediate vicinity. The Villette is divided into two floors: on the ground floor, there is a spacious living room with a double sofa bed, a kitchen-living room, a bedroom with a single bed, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. From the kitchen, there is access to a large back garden. On the second floor is a bedroom with a double bed plus a single loft bed, a bedroom with a double bed, and a bathroom with shower and toilet.
At the beach; Near water
A few kilometers away is the Po Delta Park, with its alternation of woods and lagoons: the Comacchio Valleys extend just outside the town, which can be visited by bicycle or by motorboat, while the woods of Mesola and Santa Giustina ( km 20) are ideal for a fresh walk in nature after a day at the beach.
Obviously, a visit to the historic center of Comacchio is not to be missed, the real capital of the Delta Park, which with its dense network of bridges and canals is an extraordinary "little Venice".

Surrounded by unspoiled nature, Stintino offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities. Asinara National Park, located on the nearby island of Asinara, is accessible by boat and provides a protected habitat for rare wildlife species, hiking trails with spectacular sea views, and historical landmarks, including an ancient prison complex. For water sports enthusiasts, the area is ideal for windsurfing, kayaking, and sailing.
